At ElevaFinca, every container of coffee represents more than a transaction. It reflects coordination, care, and the values of the people who ensure each shipment supports both producers and buyers.
In this edition, we’re excited to introduce Nancy Elizabeth Cabrera Cieza, Logistics Coordinator based in Jaén, Peru. With a background that began in a cooperative in Cajamarca and now spans exports from three countries, Nancy brings purpose and precision to every movement of coffee.

A Journey That Began with the Aroma of Coffee
Nancy joined ElevaFinca during the 2024 harvest season, driven by a clear purpose: to contribute her knowledge and energy to strengthening the coffee value chain.
“I came in with the conviction that my work could support something bigger,” she shares. “I’ve had the chance to visit farms, meet producers, and I’m still amazed by how the effort of so many people results in a single cup of coffee enjoyed anywhere in the world.”
Today, Nancy coordinates exports from Peru, Colombia, and Honduras, working closely with a diverse network of cooperatives and clients.
Logistics with Purpose
Each day, Nancy begins by reviewing emails and making sure every logistical detail stays on track. The routine might look structured from the outside, but in practice, it is anything but repetitive.
“Logistics is not boring at all. Every day is about solving, communicating, and coordinating. It’s fast-paced but deeply rewarding.”
For Nancy, every shipment is unique. Managing coffee across multiple origins and organizations means learning and adapting constantly.
“Making sure every document is accurate is not just about compliance. It’s key to ensuring on-time arrivals and preserving strong, transparent relationships between producers and buyers.”

Inspired by Values That Matter
The ElevaFinca value that resonates most with Nancy is our commitment to sustainable development.
“It’s not just about exporting coffee. It’s about helping organizations strengthen their operations, access financing, and improve land management.”
She proudly mentions initiatives like the Urapi Fund, which supports working capital and farm renovation. For Nancy, this is what meaningful impact looks like.
A Project Close to Heart
One of the highlights of Nancy’s work is coordinating logistics for the Café Selva Norte Project.
“It’s an honor to be part of something where every stakeholder gives their best to ensure quality,” she says.
Staying connected to the purpose of ElevaFinca means being close to cooperatives and making commercial relationships more resilient.
“Every coordination I make is part of something larger: connecting the producer with the buyer.”

A Daily Ritual That Grounds the Work
Each morning in the Jaén office begins with a fresh cup of coffee, often served by a teammate.
“I’m not the one who makes the coffee,” she laughs, “but I’m lucky to work with true coffee lovers who always have a story in each cup.”
That short moment grounds the team and reminds them why the work matters.
If given the chance to host a partner or buyer in Peru, Nancy knows exactly where she’d begin.
“I would start with a visit to the farms of our allied cooperatives so they can see firsthand the commitment behind each stage of the value chain. Then I’d show them the Café Selva Norte dry mill, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and powered by a team dedicated to delivering quality in every lot.”
Her Experience in One Phrase
When asked to describe her time at ElevaFinca in just a few words, Nancy answers without hesitation:
“Growth with purpose.” Our latest coffee offer is constantly updated here
