As part of our commitment to operational transparency and logistics planning, we are sharing a consolidated overview of processing capacity across the four dry mills within the Ecotierra ecosystem: Aroma Café y Miel in Honduras, Café Selva Norte and Kuska in Peru, and RioSierra in Colombia.
The objective is simple: provide buyers with clear, standardized figures to support shipment planning, campaign alignment, and risk management across origins.
All figures below are based on standardized assumptions:
1 Quintal equals 46 kg
20 foot container equals approximately 20 metric tons or 275 bags of 69 to 70 kg
Weekly capacity assumes one 8 hour shift and 6 working days unless otherwise specified

Aroma Café & Miel (ACM) – Honduras
Total storage capacity
80,000 QQ
Equivalent to approximately 3,680,000 kg
Storage includes both parchment and green coffee.
Processing capacity
Parchment hulling capacity: 6.2 metric tons per hour
Container preparation time
Average 4 hours per 20 metric ton container
Nominal weekly capacity
Under one 8 hour shift: approximately 12 containers per week

Café Selva Norte (CSN) – Peru
Total storage capacity
25,000 QQ
Equivalent to approximately 1,150,000 kg
Includes parchment and green coffee
Processing capacity
Parchment machine feed capacity: 10 metric tons per hour
Special processing lines
Microlot line capacity: 2.5 metric tons per hour
Container preparation time
Average 4 hours per container
Under a standard 8 hour shift: 2 containers per shift
During campaign operations, CSN can run two 12 hour shifts, allowing processing of up to 6 containers per day.
Nominal weekly capacity
Under one 8 hour shift: approximately 12 containers per week
Higher volumes are achievable during extended campaign shifts.

Kuska – Peru
Total storage capacity
16,500 QQ
Equivalent to approximately 759,000 kg
Includes parchment and green coffee
Processing capacity
Parchment hulling: 8.8 metric tons per hour
Special processing lines
Microlot capacity: 1.6 metric tons per hour
Container preparation time
Average 3 hours and 30 minutes per container
Nominal weekly capacity
Under one 8 hour shift: approximately 14 containers per week
Actual throughput may be lower depending on service demand and programming schedules rather than mechanical constraints.

RioSierra – Colombia
Total storage capacity
13,043 QQ
Equivalent to approximately 599,978 kg
Includes parchment and green coffee
Processing capacity
Parchment hulling: 3.6 metric tons per hour
Container preparation time
Average 7.2 hours per container
Nominal weekly capacity
Under one 8 hour shift: approximately 5 to 6 containers per week

What this means for buyers
Across the four origins, the combined infrastructure provides:
Distributed processing capacity across Central and South America
Realistic container preparation timelines for export scheduling
Flexibility to scale during campaign through extended shifts
Most importantly, these figures allow us to align contracts with mechanical capacity, not assumptions. In a volatile market environment, processing transparency reduces execution risk and strengthens reliability across the supply chain.
